A shuttle bus stops opposite the property, allowing you to make the most of the many activities in the Évasion Mont-Blanc area all year round.
In winter, it’s just a 10-minute walk to the Rochebrune cable car, which gives you access to the ski area’s 400km of pistes. In summer, numerous hiking and biking trails wind through the mountains, including one which leads to the charming Lac de Javen at an altitude of 1,400 metres.
The traditional yet chic resort of Megève offers a variety of designer boutiques, as well as gourmet restaurants and cosy cafés.
And when you return to Chalet Princesse Brume at the end of the day, you can relax and recharge your batteries in the sauna, hot tub, or counter-current pool, or get together to watch a film in the home cinema.
About the property…
Chalet Princesse Brume is an elegant, contemporary chalet set over three storeys. It can accommodate up to 12 guests (including 8 adults), with five bedrooms and five bath or shower rooms.
The garden floor is where you will find the spacious wellness area, complete with a sauna, a hot tub and a 6m x 2m counter-current swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day in the mountains. The cinema room has a large sofa where you can all get together for a film night.
There are three bedrooms on this level, all of which open onto the garden. There are two double bedrooms, each with a television and its own en-suite shower room, as well as a children’s room sleeping four in two sets of bunk beds, with access to a separate shower room with WC.
The ground floor is home to the spacious and welcoming living area, which is filled with natural light. A central fireplace separates the seating area, with a sofa and armchairs around the TV, from the large dining table. The open-plan kitchen has a breakfast bar and is fully equipped with everything you will need during your stay. A separate WC is also located on this floor.
The main living space opens onto a sunny balcony, furnished with a small table where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an evening apéritif.
On the first floor are two double bedrooms, each of which opens onto a balcony. The first has a desk and its own shower room with WC, while the second is an elegant master suite with a desk and television, as well as a large private bathroom with two showers, a bath and a separate WC.
On the practical side, you can park one car in a covered garage and two more outside. Chalet Princesse Brume also has a ski room with a heated boot dryer, as well as a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
About the area…
Megève is the most well-known of the eight resorts that make up the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area. Both chic and traditional, it offers designer boutiques, gourmet restaurants and cosy cafés. The Palais des Sports, an impressive leisure complex, also has an Olympic ice rink, tennis courts, climbing walls and a large aquatic centre.
In winter, Megève offers access to more than 400km of ski slopes and nearly 120 ski lifts. There are green runs for beginners, while experienced skiers can enjoy off-piste skiing on Côte 2000 and Mont Joly. Megève is also the perfect starting point for ski touring. If you want to get away from the crowds, you can head to the other Évasion Mont-Blanc resorts such as Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, Les Contamines-Montjoie, Combloux, La Giettaz and Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce.
During the rest of the year, you can explore 150km of hiking and cycling trails, while golfers can take on the 18 holes of the Domaine du Mont d’Arbois course, with views of Mont Joly and the Aravis mountains. You can also go paragliding, riding, or admire the Alps from above on a hot-air balloon flight. The village is also very popular with families, with treetop adventure parks, swimming pools, sports facilities and picnic areas by the lake.
